What happened:

A week’s work trying to pull completion, high overpulls throughout, over 200 plastic clamps lost downhole. Completion eventually stuck 391m from full tubular recovery. Bigger ODs of gauge carrier and injection sub (7.2″ and 7.51″) suspected of dragging control lines.

What was planned:

Cut completion at 4559m, pull completion, retrieve all tubing and control lines and clamps plus chemical injection sub and gauge carrier.

What actions are required:

Consider cutting above gauge carrier on next well to minimise chance of broken control lines hanging up on the carrier and valve. Evaluate based on results of fishing activities.
